Bulk cement is highly hygroscopic and abrasive. Traditional grab unloaders expose the material to ambient air, causing moisture absorption, clumping, and dust emissions. Our screw ship unloaders use a fully enclosed, sealed steel casing that physically isolates cement from humidity and light rain. An integrated dust collection system maintains a clean internal environment, and positive pressure control prevents moist sea air from entering the material flow.
This design also minimizes material degradation and spillage, making it the preferred choice for cement terminals that must meet strict environmental regulations. The continuous mechanical conveying action is gentler on the product than pneumatic systems, which can be energy-intensive and limited in capacity.
